Around March 20th we celebrate the Spring Equinox, Ostara or Alban Eiler , As this moon takes us from March 17th this is covered here. At Ostara we celebrate the start of spring as we see earth awakening from the cold winter, we see the first flowers and the quickening of the earth. Eggs are a traditional symbol at this time and are a symbol of new life.

Celtic Tree Calendar

18th March - 14th April is Alder tree Month. Alder people are courageous, energetic, impetuous and determined to make their own way in the world. Self-reliant and adventurous, they love taking risks and are tenacious workers. Affectionate and charming, they inspire great loyalty in others. Alders must learn the art of diplomacy or they waste energy in fruitless disputes.
